Criw Cymraeg is made up of representatives from Year 1 to 6.  We meet as a society once a week to focus on Welsh aspects in our School.  We are working hard to make sure Welsh in our school is fun and important.

This year we will be working towards our Cymraeg Campus 'Silver' award.

Cymraeg Campus

Cymraeg Campus is a Language Charter that is used to promote the use of the Welsh Language throughout the school, across Curriculum and in all areas of school life.  In school we have a 'Criw Cymraeg' who are a pupil society set up to encourage and promote the Welsh Language.

There are 10 targets to achieve.  These are:

• Establishing a Welsh Ethos
• The advantages of learning Welsh
• The use of incidental Welsh in the classroom
• The use of incidental Welsh outside of the classroom
• Welsh assemblies
• Apps and websites to enhance learning and enjoyment
• Enrichment Activities 
• Developing Reading
• Welsh across the curriculum
• A positive attitude
