Hope you have all had a lovely Spring break and not eaten too many Easter eggs. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us as we head into the final term this year. We are excited to welcome some guests to the Plaza who will help us to explore the theme of eggs. We will also be planting vegetables in our garden and learning how to look after them. 

Happy New Year to you all. This term Nursery and Reception children will be exploring Winter. Alongside this we will be looking at how we can be healthy and what is a healthy diet. The children will develop their vocabulary linked to fruit and vegetables and learn how to describe how they are the same and different. We will be tasting a variety of fruits and vegetables as well as cooking with apples making a variety of delicious dishes to taste. We will also be celebrating St David's Day and the Christian festival of Easter. 

Welcome back to school. This term Nursery and Reception will be thinking all about themselves and their families. We will be exploring how we are the same and different to our friends and celebrating these differences. We will also be looking at the changing seasons as we move from Summer into Autumn and then into Winter. 

Our Topic for the Summer term is Overground Underground. We will be focusing on the changing of the seasons, growing plants and minibeasts. Nursery will focus on sunflowers and butterflies and Reception will focus on growing beans and ladybirds. 

Our Topic for Spring 2024 is Seize the Season. We will be focusing on the changing of the seasons and the weather. 

Our Topic for Autumn Term 2023 is Building Me. 

Our Summer Term 2023 topic is Nature Detectives. This topic will be focused around the theme of eggs. We can not wait to welcome some visitors to the Plaza when we return after the Easter Break. 

Our Spring Term 2023 topic is Cymru.
